Financial Planning for Musicians

Learn what financial instruments are in tune with a musician's lifestyle

At the end of 2015, MediShield will be replaced by MediShield Life, an upgrade to the health insurance administered by the Central Provident Fund (CPF)  Board, which will offer better protection and higher payouts to all Singaporean citizens and Permanent Residents for life.

With better coverage, MediShield Life premiums will increase. Despite the Government’s significant support to keep these affordable and its assurance that no one will lose coverage due to the inability to afford these premiums, rising heathcare costs will be a growing concern to freelance musicians who have limited savings in their CPF accounts.

Co-organized by the Musicians Guild of Singapore (MGOS) & PWG Asia, the “Financial Planning for Musicians” seminar will explain how MediShield Life will impact you, and how personal insurance plans can help to mitigate future challenges. Our presenter, Mr. Kenneth Walter De Souza, is an experienced financial planner and also a working musician, performing the saxophone and active as a music educator working with school bands.

Do come and out out more about the services and privileges provided by the MGOS, including insurance plans at exclusive prices, to find out why you should join us!
